The HCCA conference events and activities are open to all HCCA members and also to anyone who is interested in learning more about growing cacao or making chocolate in Hawaii, the industry, the supply chain or who just loves chocolate!
This year’s theme is Hawaii Cacao and Chocolate Diversification through Agri-tourism. Farm tours of Waialua Estates, 21 Degrees Estate and Kualoa Ranch, as well as a chocolate factory tour of Manoa Chocolate will be integrated with expert speakers on orchard design, cacao genetics, seedlings, pest threats, and artisanal chocolate making culminating in a discussion panel on diversification and agritourism in Hawaii.
The first day will include a catered dinner on a Waimanalo farm and the second day features a breakfast networking farm tour, a short business meeting, a panel discussion and reception at the Kaneohe Yacht club followed by the traditional chocolate tasting and wine pairing. The fee for all activities and events is $165 per person. A full itinerary of the conference events can be found at the registration page.
