The new HCCA Board of Directors for the 2016-2017 year was elected at the annual conference held in Hilo, Hawaii in March. Elected members are Dan Corson, Hamakua Farm, (Hawaii island); Maria Carl [Rogers], 21 Degrees Estate Cacao Farm (Oahu); Dylan Butterbaugh, Manoa Chocolate, (Oahu); and Vic Rengehan, Sweet Paradise Chocolates (Maui).
The Board, in turn, elected its officers at the first Board Meeting on May 23rd. Gunars Valkirs will serve a second two-year term as President with adjunct duty of Treasurer. Vic Rengehan will serve as Vice-President, Maria Carl will serve as Secretary and Communications Committee Chair.
