The Hawai'i Chocolate and Cacao Association's Second Conference and Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, February 24th, 2013. The HCCA Conference provides the best source of information on cacao and chocolate in Hawai'i and a fun environment to meet and exchange ideas with others working in the industry, including a unique opportunity to hear from chocolate experts from throughout the USA and mainland.

Last year's event was attended by more than 50 cacao growers, chocolate-makers, professionals and enthusiasts from around the state.

February is Hawaii-Grown Cacao Month!

February has been identified by the State legislature as the month for celebrating chocolate in Hawaii. There are numerous special events statewide including:

  • 3rd annual Hawaii Cacao Festival at Haleiwa Farmers Market on Sun., Jan. 29th
  • Hawaii Chocolate Festival Road Show for 2012 traveling around the state to promote awareness, provide information and education on the chocolate industry and encourage participation in chocolate events in the Hawaii.
  • Farm tours and special menu items at local restaurants featuring local chocolate
